In Memoriam

Members of the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation mourn the loss of our friend and colleague Dr. Edward Fink who passed away on December 20, 2021.

Dr. Fink worked at Butler Area School District as a teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. His career spanned from September 2, 1969 until June 30, 2012. He touched the lives of many throughout his nearly 43 years with the district.

Dr. Fink was a leader and active member of The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc. since the organization’s inception in 1991. He led with integrity and valued honesty, diligence, and reliability in others.  Dr. Fink’s colleagues admired him as he continually advocated for the students of the School District and members of the Butler Community in need.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

He was a valued member of our Butler Community, will be missed, but never forgotten.
